News from Dixie and Beyond: The latest “Golden Circle” podcast

Representative Jon Hubbard of Arkansas is under attack by GOP for politically-incorrect statements about slavery and the conditions of Blacks in US verse elsewhere.

Michael Cushman of South Carolina, brings us unusual and controversial news from around “Dixie” this week.  Among the news is the story of Jon Hubbard, an Arkansas represenative from nearby Jonesboro, Arkansas who was condemned by not only the liberal left, but also fellow Republicans when he stated that: “slavery was “a blessing” for African-Americans, among other questionable statements.Hubbard, a first term Republican from Jonesboro, Ark., makes a series of racially charged statements in the self-published book, including saying that integration of schools is hurting white students, that African slaves had better lives under slavery than in Africa, that blacks are not contributing to society, and that a situation is developing the United States which is similar to that of Nazi Germany.”

Michael also talks about terrified residents of Brooklyn , NY. The culprits? Raccoons.
