Thanks to our Veterans

Note: This letter came in via Facebook by Mrs. JoAnn Barber of Kansas City , Missouri:

I was walking into work this morning it was very cold and dark. I was feeling down and was trying to get my head ready for a long day in surgery and was wishing I was still at home and still in my warm bed. When I walked thru the main lobby there were 3 elderly gentleman, clearly of our greatest generation, sitting in chairs waiting for the elevators. As I approached I was greeted with warm smiles… and cheery hellos and good mornings. As I continued on my way my spirits were lifted and it instantly reminded me why I’m here. I thank God for my job where I can make a small difference in someone’s life and I thank God for our Veterans who sacrificed so much for our freedom. Small things can change the way you look at life sometimes
