Trayvon Martin case NOT about race?

From the NY Daily News:

“A TRAYVON MARTIN family lawyer threw the trial of cop wanna-be George Zimmerman into turmoil Thursday by suddenly declaring that the case was “not about race.”“It’s not about racial profiling,” Daryl Parks declared. “He was profiled (criminally). George Zimmerman profiled him.”

Parks dropped this bombshell after prosecutors spent the last few days arguing that Zimmerman profiled the 17-year-old specifically because he was black.

Asked why Parks was changing his tune now, the lawyer made another head-scratching statement. “We never claimed this was about race,” he said.”

Really? This WHOLE thing was not about race? Is that why Illinois Democrat Congressman was escorted off of the U.S. House of Representatives for wearing a hoodie and why Travon Martin’s parents praised the Congressman?

The Blaze website reported on March 28, 2012 “Just hours after Rep. Bobby rush (D-IL) was yanked from the House floor for violating rules by wearing a Hoodie during a fiery speech, the parents of slain teen Trayvon Martin have responded. And they’re applauding the move. (Watch the chaos during Rush’s speech)

“First of all, I’d like to commend Congressman Rush for pleading our case,” Martin’s father, Tracy, told the Washington Post.  “My question would be, why wasn’t Congressman Rush allowed to address racial profiling?”

If this WHOLE THING isn’t about race then why did all of the mainstream media outlets describe George Zimmerman as being “White-Hispanic?”

Is it why the prosecution’s star witness in the case Rachel Jeantel testified that Trayvon Martin said in a phone call to her , prior to the shooting that she was being followed by a man that looked like “a creepy-ass cracker”?

Yes , it’s about race UNTIL the star witness for the prosecution becomes a better witness for the defense. -Editor
