Jackson (Missouri) “Homecomers” honors Confederate Colonel

Jackson Missouri’s 105 year old Homecomers celebration’s roots lie with the dedication of a new courthouse and a memorial to Jackson native (and Confederate Colonel) William Jeffers.

It’s nice to see someone from Jackson who properly honors Colonel Jeffers. It kind of makes one wonder what all the fuss was about in 2005, when I tried to get a Missouri Battle Flag erected at his monument.
