Let it Burn

This is going to be one of the shortest posts I’ve ever made and it is quite possibly the best example of politically-correct idiocy ever recorded.  The place: Orlando , Florida. A black homeowner calls the fire department because…his home is on fire.  The fire department shows up and starts to work on extinguishing it.

The Black homeowner sees a firefighter’s axe lying on the ground and to his horror it has a Confederate flag painted on it. Suddenly the Black homeowners concern is not the horror of his house burning but the horror of an axe left lying on the ground with a Confederate flag painted on it.

A Black firefighter orders the axe removed from the property.

Two things here:

A: Why worry about what is painted on the axe if the person holding it is there to put the fire out in your burning home?

B: Shouldn’t the Black firefighter who ordered the axe removed been more concerned about the burning house than a politically-correct symbol painted on an axe?

If the firefighter who brought the axe were a racist he probably would not have responded to the fire.

Perhaps they should have just let the damn thing burn. I’m sure there were other emergencies they could have responded to in which the owners of burning property would have been more concerned with the help they were receiving instead of the trouble they wanted to make- Editor
